Construction Process

Choose from a selection of floor plans designed by Land Visions or custom design a floor plan that's built for you, your lifestyle and your budget.

The design process can last from one week to several months depending on the complexity of the design, any alterations and your personal schedule’s flexibility.

As you are working through the design process, we will schedule appointments with subcontractors regarding the building specifications of your new home (windows, doors, flooring & cabinetry).  This will allow you to choose and customize the exact details of your home and determine the price point that fits your budget.

It is recommended that you secure pre-approval for the financing of your construction loan to ensure we work within your budget. Land Visions works with several lenders to make this process as easy and expedient as possible.

Contract & Permitting

  • Once the selection or design of your floor plan is complete and you have had time to finalize your custom specifications, it's time to sign and build your dream home!
  • Permitting takes roughly 4-6 weeks and construction typically begins within one week of receiving the approved permits.


  • Loans typically close within 30-45 days of signing your contract.
